Expression of gratitude for sympathies for mega earthquake and tsunami disaster in Tohoku and Kanto areas
Thank you for your sympathies for Muroran IT according to the mega earthquake and tsunami disaster in Tohoku and Kanto areas.
I would like to report that Muroran Institute of Technology has encountered minimum influence from the disaster and the Center for International Relations has confirmed safety of all international students including those from partner universities up to now.
At present, Muroran IT and the Center for International Relations proceed with the preparations to welcome new international students in April. All faculty members and administration staff are looking forward to seeing you at Muroran IT!
In response to the rapid internationalization of Japanese society in an ever-changing world,
Muroran Institute of Technology (MuroranIT) established a new Center for International Relations in April 2007.
The aims of the Center are twofold:
to actively promote the research activities of the University to a wider international audience;
and to provide educational and research opportunities for overseas students who wish to study at MuroranIT.
Principle Aims and Activities of the Center
- To promote the international exchange of students and research with foreign universities.
- To actively contribute to international research activities.
- To provide both professional and personal support to all overseas students studying at MuroranIT.
- To develop and promote exchange opportunities, at both the national and local levels, with the home countries of our overseas students.
